So, Ben Franklin created 13 virtues to make himself a better person. I chose humility because it is a goal in my life to be more and more like Jesus everyday, I also need more of him in my life. Jesus Christ was an amazing person and I want to be like him. Living like Jesus means to accept everyone where they are at and not to judge anybody for who they are or what they have done.
In order to work on humility, I will read my bible more, pray more, and be more accepting of people. Also, I will not judge people, which is something that I've had issues with. Also, I will strive to do my best to be perfect and to love everyone. So, that is what I am going to be to imitate Jesus.
Update Number 1 So, I have been working on my virtue. Some things that I have been learning through this is that you can always find good things in people no matter how they look or how they act. Like the other day I was at work and I overcharged this one lady. She seemed to be a little on the meaner side but when her total came up to be at $1,300, she was very patient with me. Even though I had to ring up everything that she bought again. And making her stay at the Butcher Shoppe an extra five minutes. So, with this virtue I am becoming more accepting of people and learning not to judge people by the way they look.
Update Number 2
So, Friday was a crazy day. It started out very well until my friends and I received the news about Sarah Hurley. And even in what seemed like a disaster the prayer squad at school still took the time to stop and pray for Sarah's family and the Goshen family. It has been a great emotional journey since then. But in the wake of this disaster, God is still in control and he has a plan. So, that is how I'm working on my virtue, I am trust that God has a plan.
Update Number 3 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” 1 John 5:14-15
So when we have issues in our lives we should ask God to help us through them. Well, I'm not a particularly patient person. And I've been raising money for my missions trip to Houston this summer, and it's very discouraging for me to check to see if anyone donated and it shows up the same as yesterday. But this week, that has been what I've been praying for. And God has blessed me with a few donations.

So, I worked on my virtue this morning by working in the nursery at my church. This is imitating Jesus because he says what you do for the least of these you do for me. So by helping the little children of my church I was serving God.
